COMFORTABLE
AND RECYCLED
PET FELT

The back shell made from recycled PET felt focuses on a homely look, natural felt feel and the flexibility of the material. It is created in a complex process: the initially flexible mat made from recycled PET felt is produced using a needle-punched nonwoven process from a mixture of 40% polyester fibers (PES) and 60% bi-component fibers. It is then pressed into a stable form at 200 degrees to achieve the desired structure and strength.

HOMELY LOOK
AND
NATURAL TOUCH

PET felt enables us to create inspiring shapes like the WOOOM. The backrest shell made from recycled PET felt impresses with its homely appearance, natural felt feel and high flexibility. The material also ensures a self-supporting shape.

We use this material to manufacture our entire WOOOM product family and the backrest version of the CoMeet product family. We rely on a high proportion of recycled PET for our products. The recycled content of the WOOOM product (woo75) is approx. 60%.

ROBUST
AND
RECYCLABLE

Polyethylene terephthalate, known as PET, is not only robust but also recyclable. This material supports our sustainability goals by offering the possibility of being transformed into new products at the end of its life cycle.
